The Fuentemar complex is a very pretty collection of houses, all privately owned and with very well maintained gardens and pools on the outskirts Garrucha. The houses are strikingly whitewashed outside and tastefully decorated inside, and are just a 5 minute walk from the beach.

The pools are cleaned and well maintained with an additional smaller pool for young children. Bars, restaurants, supermarkets and shops are conveniently situated adjacent to the complex.

An hourly bus service runs past the complex between Vera and Carboneras, servicing Garrucha and Mojacar. Although a car is not essential it is recommended if you wish to further explore the more isolated areas or find one of the numerous coves.
