Garrucha is a traditional Spanish Village with fantastic fish restuarants situated along the marina and promanade, it also has good local shops, tappas bars and a good local market which is on a friday of each week. Fuentemar complex is less than 5 minutes walk from a glorious unspoilt sandy beach. |
| Garrucha is well known for it’s magnificent, golden sandy beaches, stretching as far as the eye can see, for several kilometres. The beach opposite the town centre is the only blue flag in town beach in Europe. As you continue past Garrucha there are a series of superb recently developed beaches, covering 8km. Mojacar Playa is 7 mins drive away. There are restaurants,shops, bars and golf courses and water sports. |

Cycle, scooter, boat, quad bikes and light aircraft hire are available locally. Other activities include golf, water sports, deep sea diving, snorkelling, scuba diving, fishing, wind surfing, water-skiing, banana boat, horse riding, bowls, tennis and an aqua park. All are within easy walking distance or a short bus/car ride away. Note: not all activities may be available all year round. |
